BOOKING TERMS

At Veronica Jayne, every appointment is special to us. Your time in our chair is reserved just for you, and we want to make sure each client receives the care and attention they deserve. To help us give everyone the best possible experience, we kindly ask you to take a moment to read through our booking terms and conditions below.

 

By continuing with your booking, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined below. If you have any questions, we’d love to chat. Simply, get in touch.

Late Arrivals 

  • Running late? Please call us, we’ll do our best to make it work. If we can’t, we may need to reschedule, which could be treated as a no show.

  • Sometimes other people’s services can run over too – if this happens, we’ll let you know as soon as we can.

Illness & Safety

  • We take your health and our team’s health seriously. If either of us need to reschedule due to illness, thank you for your patience and understanding – keeping everyone safe is always our priority.

Cancellation Policy

Late cancellations (within 24 hours) or no-shows will incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booked service.

Cancellations & Changes

  • Haircut or blow wave appointments: At least 24 hours’ notice.

 

  • Cut & colour appointments: At least 48 hours’ notice.

 

  • Repeated no-shows may require pre-payment for future appointments.

 

We appreciate your understanding. Last-minute cancellations make it difficult for our stylists to fill the appointment time and impact other clients who may be waiting for a booking.

No Shows

  • First no show: We were so excited to see you! You’ll be charged 50% of your missed appointment before booking again.

 

  • Second no show: Ouch – being stood up twice really hurts. You’ll be charged 100% of your missed service, and future bookings will require a 50% deposit.

PRICING Policy

We believe in keeping things simple, transparent, and fair.

 

  • 45-minute cut = $90

  • If your appointment runs longer, it’s just $25 for every additional 15 minutes.

 

This way, you know exactly what to expect, and our stylists are free to give your hair the love and attention it deserves without rushing.

DEPOSIT Policy

For new clients booking a chemical service (such as colour work), we want to ensure the best possible results. That’s why:

  • A consultation is required before your first chemical service.

 

  • At the time of consultation, a non-refundable $150 deposit will be taken to secure your appointment.

 

  • If you cancel within 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be held and transferred to your rescheduled appointment.

  • If you do not show up or cancel late, your deposit will be non-refundable.

 

This policy helps us protect valuable appointment time and ensures our stylists can prepare everything needed for your service.

Re-Do Policy

At Veronica Jayne, we are committed to ensuring that you love the end result following your service with us. While all services are non-refundable, we understand that there may be instances where an adjustment is necessary.

Complimentary Adjustment Service

We offer a complimentary adjustment service at our discretion, depending on the circumstances. This service is provided free of charge to address any dissatisfaction you may have with the initial service.

Disagreement Resolution

In the event of a disagreement, any request for an adjustment service must be validated by our management team.

Timeframe for Request

You have a window of 48 hours from the completion of the initial service to contact Veronica Jayne and request a complimentary adjustment service. Visit us in the salon or email us at veronicajayne@xtra.co.nz

Eligibility for Adjustment

The need for an adjustment service must arise from a mistake made during your service at our salon, rather than a change of mind on your part after the service has been performed. Unfortunately, adjustments are not applicable if the dissatisfaction is due to your previous hair state, deviation from aftercare instructions, or a personal preference change.

Prompt Contact

It is crucial that you contact our salon as soon as you become unhappy with the service so that we can promptly schedule you for an adjustment service at the earliest convenience. Our goal is to ensure you leave our salon feeling beautiful and confident. Please communicate any concerns with your hair stylist as soon as possible and we will do our best to provide a solution with an adjustment service.
