Aimee is the master of the short and sharp styles. Watching her mum Jayne in the salon from a young age, Aimee knew she too would one day pursue this dream. Now, with more than 20 years' experience, Aimee is well and truly living it! 

Ashley thrives on a challenge — and even more on supporting her clients. With 10+ years of experience, she’s known for restoring hair to its best and creating effortless beauty, all with her signature warmth and easy conversation.

A master of short cuts and bold styles, Natalie brings 32 years of expertise and creative flair. Since joining in 2017, she’s been a trusted stylist and steady force at VJ, sharing her skill and knowledge with ease.

With 36 years of experience and a bubbly, caring nature, Dara brings both warmth and expertise. Since moving from the Bay of Islands in 2019, she’s become a cherished part of our salon family, mentoring juniors and supporting women’s causes.

Bridget brings fearless creativity to bold cuts and vibrant colour. Since joining from South Africa in 2020, her playful energy and love for big, bouncy hair have made her a firm favourite among clients. Bridget is also our resident Kérastase Care Coach.

A connoisseur in colour and conversation, Hannah is a true chameleon — always transforming her look and inspiring others with rich, glossy colour. Now a senior stylist, she pairs natural talent with a love for beauty, bringing both laughter and luminous results to every appointment.

Charlotte, our rising star, brings contagious energy and a thirst for learning. Experienced in bold length and colour transformations, she combines growing expertise with a passion for adventure and mental health advocacy, promising exciting creativity for years to come.

Abby is truly a godsend. With nearly 20 years in the industry as a senior stylist, technical educator, and salon manager across New Zealand and Australia, she brings invaluable expertise and warmth. Abby keeps our busy salon running smoothly—managing bookings, guiding product choices, and supporting both clients and stylists with her signature sunshine.

Sammy, our newest team member, assists Abby as a salon coordinator, ensuring every client experience runs seamlessly from start to finish. A talented makeup artist and former real estate professional, Sammy brings warmth, precision, and a touch of glamour to the salon.

Lauren, our youngest team member, brings bright, bubbly energy to the salon. As a part-time salon assistant, she's always ready to lend a hand and captures the team's social media moments, ensuring VJ never misses a beat.
